Buying the Rings
When a young couple in Milwaukee picked out their rings, the groom-to-be came up short at the register — his bride had to cover the tax on her own engagement ring.
Buying the rings. When we became engaged, we had very little money, but we went shopping in Milwaukee for the engagement and wedding rings. We made our selection and found that I only had enough for the purchase of the rings but not for the tax. My future wife saved the day by providing the needed tax money.
